DreadKnot Juice Press exists for the people who never found their name on a gift-shop keychain. For the scholars, artists, teachers, and students who were told—directly or indirectly—that academia wasn’t built for them, wasn’t meant to include them, or would only tolerate them if they learned how to behave.

We bypass the corporate red tape, the polished jargon, and the gatekeeping nonsense to bring you Education Unfiltered—raw scholarship, real pedagogy, and tools that actually work. No ivory tower fluff. Just sharp thinking, clear writing, and intellectual dignity by any means necessary.

This press publishes books, games, and educational tools that challenge who gets to speak, who gets published, and who gets taken seriously. We believe marginalized voices don’t need permission slips to enter academic spaces—we kick the door down, pull up a chair, and make a difference anyway. If that makes someone uncomfortable, good. Growth usually does.
